Dean

Owner

Dean is the driving force behind SUB10. With a background as both a high-performance athlete and a former Police Officer, he brings grit, focus, and a genuine passion for helping people reach their full potential. Dean’s vision for SUB10 was always clear: create a high-quality, inclusive gym that’s built for everyone – from beginners to seasoned athletes.

Known for his hands-on approach and strong community values, Dean has played a part in everything from laying flooring to selecting the best Technogym gear in the country. His experience and leadership shape the energy of SUB10, making it a space where people feel safe, motivated, and supported in their health journey.

When he’s not on the gym floor, you'll still find Dean behind the scenes – always thinking about how to make the space even better for members.

Sacha

Owner

Sacha is the warm, welcoming presence you’ll often find greeting members at the front desk or keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. With a natural talent for organisation and a deep connection to the Te Puke community, she’s the glue that holds SUB10 together.

Sacha wears many hats – business owner, community connector, proud mum – and brings a grounded, genuine energy to the gym that makes everyone feel like they belong. She’s been involved in every part of SUB10’s journey, from the early vision to the day-to-day operations, always with a clear focus on making members feel seen, valued, and supported.

Whether it’s helping a new member settle in or jumping in to lay mats with the family, Sacha brings care and commitment to everything she does.

Head Personal Trainer

I'm Sean, a qualified personal trainer. I enjoy all aspects of the fitness industry and get a real kick out of pushing my clients to reach their full potential. I also offer nutritional advice and direction for clients wishing to go that extra step and compete in competitions. I'm known for saying "just one more!"

Kia ora, my name is Teah and I am thrilled to be joining the Sub10 community! 

As a qualified personal trainer I have a strong passion for health and wellness. I am driven to create a space for individuals to flourish and instil healthier habits to improve longevity of life. 

Gorgia

Therapeutic and Sports Massage Therapist

Hi, my name is Gorgia! I am a qualified Level 5 Therapeutic and Sports Massage Therapist and have been practicing since 2021. I love working with clients to relieve tension, support recovery, and improve overall well-being - all while giving you a chance to enjoy some peace and quiet during your busy day.

I am also studying full-time to complete my Bachelor of Nursing, driven by my passion for helping others. Combining a holistic approach to massage with an in-depth understanding of anatomy and physiology, I aim to support your mind, body and overall health.

Personal Trainer & Fitness Classes

Hi, I'm Elizabeth, I lead Sub10 HIIT classes.

As a certified personal trainer, fitness has always been a part of my life - its more than just a routine, it's a lifestyle.

I also work as a Beauty Therapy tutor at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology, training and supporting future professionals. 

I'm excited to share my passion with the Sub10 Gym community and help inspire, challenge, and support you on your fitness journey. I look forward to meeting and training with you!

Yoga Teacher

Laura brings a laid-back, feel-good approach to yoga that’s all about balance. Her sessions are designed to complement your training — think mobility, deep stretching, breathwork, mindfulness, and just the right amount of humour.

Whether you're feeling tight from a tough workout, need help winding down after a hectic week, or just want permission to lie on the floor and breathe — Laura’s got you covered. No ego, no expectations, and absolutely no pressure to touch your toes.

Her classes are the perfect reset for body and mind — helping you move better, recover faster, and feel more grounded.

Pumpfit Instructor

Bringing passion, fun, motivation and 20 years of fitness industry experience to Sub10

Fitness to me is a lot more than lifting weights, it’s about finding the type of training you love and look forward to that improves your fitness, wellbeing, mindset and the bonus is a strong fit healthy body. 

From straight out of school I’ve always been a high energy gym bunny. 

You’ll find me in Sub10 5-6x a week doing my own training (feel free to say hello) and on a Monday night 530pm you can join me for an epic muscle burn in the new Pumpfit classes.

Outside of the gym, I am a family woman who has a love for coffees, music, outdoors and anything adventure.

I also run a local beauty clinic full time so thrive on helping others feel like their best selves all round.
